The Be Like Josh Foundation (BLJ) is a 501(c)(3) that strives to educate and eradicate the stigma associated with disabilities for animals and humans alike. Founded to counter the most privileged views in society, the community advocates inclusiveness and acceptance for all. By concentrating its rescue efforts to aid dogs with neurological and physical disabilities, BLJ can provide vital vetting, intense medical care, and diagnostic imaging to ensure that all dogs are given a fair chance to survive and live their best lives. BLJ’s mission is to create connections with individuals, compassionately educate society on the realities of caring for dogs with neuro-differences, debunk the stereotypes placed on the word "disability," and obliterate the deep-rooted discrimination within society and the veterinary and rescue communities.
